Let me tell you what I've learned about Artists while

working with over 700 of them ...

It's hard for normal people to understand how uncertain an Artist feels, especially in 2021 as culture is shifting towards the unknown.

The path is unclear. We spend our finite creative energy obsessively thinking about how to get fans and how to get paid.

And in the process of uncovering answers, we live every day with this heavy feeling of uncertainty about our future which suffocates our art, our relationships, and our confidence. Fear is ever-present. Hope is not a solution. Neither is aimlessly grinding forward.

It's actually unbelievably fucked how hard it is to negotiate this shit.

And still. This much suffering is worth it.

For the chance at making a life out of being an Artist.

That's how powerful the choice to do this is. You will suffer for it.

Over the past 7 years of working in rehearsal spaces and on big stages with over 700 Artists as a Live Music Performance Coach, I've identified the patterns that summon inspiration, unlock motivation, and control the judgment obsessed, self-loathing, genius motherfucking Artist Brain.

Almost every Artist that stops me after a seminar or emails me through my newsletter asks me the same 2 questions:

1. What do I do to progress faster?

2. How do I stop the self-doubt, fear, and negativity affecting my progress?

This 4 week Mentorship Program is focused on finding answers to those 2 questions with help from me and 9 other skilled Artists in your position.

"If you're not an Artist, then you can't truly understand what it means to be one. You sort of have to have slept in a van in Edmonton in Canadian January to really grasp the Artist obsession."

"I help Artists design great shows. I help them take control of the fear, judgement, and self-doubt they feel. And I help them best understand what "making it" means to them, and uncover the process they need to take to get there."

Luther has mentored Artists like Haviah Mighty (Polaris Prize Winner 2019), Neon Dreams (JUNO Award Winner 2019), Cave Boy, Ruben Young, Riell, iskwē, Andee, Fortunate Ones, Jezebel Slade, Nice Horse, Myles Castello and more than 700 other Artists from every genre.

WHAT THE INDUSTRY SAYS ABOUT LUTH

"WE ARE SO FORTUNATE TO HAVE LUTHER AS AN INTEGRAL PART OF THE ALLAN SLAIGHT JUNO MASTER CLASS PROGRAM. WATCHING LUTHER WORK WITH THIS EMERGING TALENT;  IT'S APPARENT THE PASSION AND ENERGY HE BRINGS, AND HIS SPECIFIC APPROACH TO STAGE PSYCHOLOGY WILL HAVE A LASTING IMPACT ON THEIR CAREERS FOR YEARS TO COME"

CANADA'S MUSIC INCUBATOR

"LUTHER BRINGS A TRUE SENSE OF PERFORMANCE AND CONNECTIVITY TO HIS ATTENDEES. HE GETS THE CHALLENGES ARTISTS/PERFORMERS FACE AND FINDS A WAY TO CONNECT WITH HIS AUDIENCE AND SHATTER THESE NON-VISIBLE BARRIERS. LUTHER IS ABLE TO CONNECT WITH ARTISTS ON A LEVEL THAT OTHERS SIMPLY DON'T UNDERSTAND AND ARE NOT ABLE TO BREAK THROUGH TO. AFTER WATCHING BANDS THAT ATTENDED LUTHER'S WORKSHOP, I WITNESSED ATTENDEES OWN THE STAGE AT THEIR LIVE SHOW AND ELEVATE THEIR LIVE PERFORMANCE TO AN ENTIRELY NEW LEVEL. WHAT LUTHER BRINGS IS NOT SOMETHING THAT CAN BE TAUGHT, IT'S BEEN LEARNED OVER TIME AND ON STAGE GRINDING IT OUT"

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS ABOUT THE PROGRAM

What is Comeback Year About?

Comeback Year is a 4 week online coaching Program for a group of 10 Artists focused on career building and mental/emotional health.

Discussion about strategy and mental/emotional barriers is the foundation. Challenges are issued to each Artist based on what we determine will best help the Artist progress. The group helps each other and works through problems together, led by me.

What is the Program Structure

You'll have a 1 on 1 session with Luther online when the Program begins. Then, you'll take part in a 3 hour Discussion Session each week to learn, plan Challenges, and work through barriers with the group. A group chat will be available throughout the Program to encourage connection building, collaboration planning, and accountability.

What is the Program Schedule?

This Program does not require you to take time off work. It will be scheduled in a way that makes it totally possible for you to complete comfortably.

What Happens in the Discussions?

Sessions are long, and in depth. We use this time to help Artists create a strategy for career progress with the homework of executing on that strategy through weekly Challenges. Even more importantly, we use the time to identify and overcome mental/emotional barriers to success, and to build practical skills to become a better Artist and vocalist with the whole group.

I want you to finish this Program with a clear idea about how you are going to build a career creating and fearlessly sharing your art.

And I want you to finish this Program feeling massive confidence in your plan, in your art, and in your life.
